The Celtics managed to take control of this cup quarter final early on before emphatically putting the contest to bed in style in the second half.
As the Beijing Sun started to make his presence known and Dave Mahon started to worry about not wearing sun cream, both teams arrived in Dulwich for this tasty cup match between these two old foes.
Sexy started brightly with a disallowed goal but it was the Celtics who took the lead from a deadly accurate Demus George free kick just outside the edge of the area.
Man of the match Simon Holland made his first mark on the match scoring a beautiful long range shot from a poor defensive clearance making it 2-0.
Sexy pulled one back shortly after as their striker took advantage of a defense miscommunication which gave him plenty of time to strike the bouncing ball high into the top corner.
A free flowing counter attack starting from inside the Celtics half presented Aaron Pu with a chance to make it 3-1. The ball was pulled back from the byline and needless to say Aaron kept his composure to neatly drive the ball low into the far corner.
Simon started the second half as he finished the first which really did kill of any remaining hope for a Sexy comeback. A long cross field ball from left back Ste found the head of Simon who had enough pace to phenomenally catch up with his own header before rifling the ball into the roof of the net catching the goalkeeper off guard.
Ten minutes later the hat trick was complete. To be honest the third goal was almost the same as the second goal so if you could just read the above paragraph again that would be great cheers.
The three sensational goals from the Cork man was arguably the difference in class between the two teams, however it was one of the Celtics better team performances of the season and they will most definitely be growing in confidence going in to the tail end of the season.
